This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Scanner (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our iOS application. We designed the app to process documents on your device to protect your privacy.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit the following information to our servers:

• Your documents, images, or PDFs
• Personal identifiers such as your name, email, or address
• Usage analytics tied to your identity

On‑Device Processing

All core features — scanning, converting images to PDF, merging, splitting, compressing, and watermarking — are designed to run on your device. Your files remain under your control unless you choose to share or back them up via external services.

Optional Diagnostics

Aggregate crash or performance diagnostics may be provided by Apple if you opt in to share with developers in system settings. These reports don’t include your documents or images and are used solely to improve stability and performance.

Third‑Party Services

We rely on Apple’s App Store and iCloud frameworks provided by iOS. These services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies. We do not embed third‑party advertising SDKs or analytics that track you across apps.

Data Retention

Documents you create or import are stored locally on your device and, if you choose, in your iCloud backups. We do not have access to or retain your content on our servers.

Children’s Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, rectify, export, or delete on your behalf. You can delete documents at any time from within the app or via Files.

Security

We follow platform best practices and keep processing on‑device to minimize risk. Always keep your device updated and secured with a passcode or biometrics.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
